Day 4
I’ve been really enjoying my journey so far, and its only
getting better because the locations are getting closer so I don’t have to get
up so early. Getting up at five feels like a lie in for the first time ever so
hopefully the driving won’t be such a chore. Planning this stage of my journey
has been the easiest so far because I’ve spent more time in my recent past in
this area of the Yorkshire dales because of other photo projects and watching
motorbike trials on Sundays so progress should be swift.
With all that said, this was the first day that I was caught
out by the rain, so I was only able to spend around 40 minutes on the hill I
wanted to be on before I had to get my camera gear out of the rain. The
downpour continued for another hour before I decided I couldn’t wait around, I
needed to get the place done so I basically stayed within about 20 meters of my
car to take photos as I continued in an easterly direction.
