Day 3
I started day three at Grasmere where I left off last time.
I didn’t photograph it then because by that time it was 3:00pm and it was busy
and I couldn’t figure out where I wanted to be in the town. One of the places
we visited back in year 5 when we went to Grasmere was the church, because the
famous poet William Wordsworth was buried there and my primary school teachers love
poetry so that specific place must have been ingrained into my head by
them. So that’s what I ended up
photographing.
One thing that made this stretch of the journey most
interesting was the weather. The previous two days had seen a lot of rain fall;
but now I’m here the conditions are one of the most prominent things in the
landscape. There are new water falls forming on the sides of the roads,
mudslides and bursting lakes.
